Your data, handled carefully

We understand that personal files can be irreplaceable. Before we start a data transfer or recovery job, we will explain the proposed work and agree the scope, destination, price and arrangements with you.

• Agree it first: we confirm what you want copied or recovered, where it should go, and what the job will cost before work begins.
• Keep the original safe: we will not intentionally erase, wipe or dispose of source data without your explicit agreement. Where practical, we recommend keeping a separate backup.
• Check the result: where the equipment and circumstances allow, we will carry out reasonable checks on the transferred files and explain any limitations. No transfer can be guaranteed error-free.
• Respect your privacy: we use customer information only as needed to handle the enquiry and agreed work, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal obligations.
• Stay in control: if you have concerns, tell us before authorising the work. We will pause and discuss the options rather than press ahead while you are uncomfortable.

We will agree how and when equipment or data will be returned, and confirm the arrangements with you in advance.
